Chicago: Sustenance and the Food Chain at Art Works Projects

Very excited to announce this! I will be participating in a show opening in January at Art Works Projects in Chicago called, “Chicago: Sustenance and the Food Chain.” Here are the event details: SUSTENANCE: CHICAGO AND THE FOOD CHAIN January 12, 2015 – February 28, 2015 In Sustenance: Chicago and the Food Chain, photographers Amanda Rivkin and Heriberto T. Quiroz document the realities of food access in Chicago through the eyes of children at home, school, and in their communities. The installation will be framed with a discussion of where Chicago sits in the world of global agriculture and the way in which innovative programs around the city are working to expand children’s relationships with nutrition and the complex economics of food production. This exhibit will be on display at the ART WORKS Projects studio, 625 N. Kingsbury St. in Chicago.
